Privacy Policy
A straightforward explanation of what stays in your browser, what connects to other services, and what choices you control.
Last updated: August 24, 2026What this policy covers
This policy describes the Catalog Images public website and application, including product information, imagery, browser preferences, and requests needed to find or retrieve product images. It applies to your use of the website and the workspace available at /app.
Product data stored in your browser
Catalog Images stores imported spreadsheets and product records, search queues, saved or processed images, grouped covers, application settings, and related workspace information in browser storage on your device. The application uses IndexedDB and browser-controlled storage; it does not require an account or automatically synchronize your workspace between devices.
Your workspace belongs to the website origin where it was created. Switching domains, browsers, devices, or browser profiles does not automatically transfer it. Clearing website data or losing access to the device may remove it. Create and retain your own backups before changing domains or devices.
Online image searches and external sources
Finding product imagery requires internet requests. Search terms may contain product identifiers, names, descriptions, or other product information that you choose to search. Catalog Images may send those searches through its image-search endpoint to an external search provider.
When you open a product-page URL, request an image, or import an external image source, the application or its image relay requests that address from the relevant third-party website. Those providers and the infrastructure handling the request may receive the URL, network and request information, and other information normally associated with web traffic.
Third-party sites and search providers have their own practices and policies. Do not submit confidential information to external searches or sources unless you are authorized to do so.
Public website and service infrastructure
Like other hosted websites, Catalog Images relies on hosting, network, and security infrastructure to deliver pages and process permitted requests. Those systems may handle ordinary operational information such as request addresses, timestamps, browser details, network addresses, and security or diagnostic events.
The codebase does not establish a complete provider-level logging or retention schedule. Details about infrastructure retention, provider subprocessors, and operational access should be confirmed by the site operator.
Cookies, local preferences, and analytics
The public website stores your selected light, dark, or system theme in browser local storage. The application also uses browser-managed storage and service-worker caching to support its workspace and installed-app behavior.
No advertising pixels, session-recording services, third-party analytics trackers, or nonessential marketing cookies are intentionally configured in the current public website code.
Images, exports, and connected folders
You choose which product images to retrieve, process, and export. Your browser may download exported image archives, reports, or workspace backups to a location you select. Supported browsers can access a folder only after you explicitly grant permission; folder snapshots are updated when you choose to save them.
Online product photos are not automatically licensed for reuse. You remain responsible for confirming ownership, permission, and any conditions attached to third-party imagery.
Your choices and data removal
You can remove records or imports through available application controls, export or back up your workspace, and clear the website’s browser storage using your browser settings. Clearing browser data can permanently remove locally stored product information, images, and settings unless you have retained a backup.
